A Note from Alumni

// To the SIDMUN community,
Hope this message finds you well. I am a MUN alumnus from Floral Park Memorial (Class of 1997) who had the pleasure of being mentored by Mrs. Marion Brzozowski. I attended the opening ceremonies of last year’s SIDMUN conference when Mrs. Brzozowski was honored and the Position Paper Award was officially named after her. It was a lovely testament to her work, but I realized that only students who were there that day would understand why her legacy is so meaningful. So I contacted other alumni and created a brief video that explains why she means so much to the MUN community.

Our hope is students for years to come will understand why the Position Paper Award bears her name and why it is a true honor to win it. Wishing you all the best for the upcoming SIDMUN. So proud to see that the program is still going strong.
